i haven't ever been able to keep a journal consistently and sometimes i try, like when i'm on a trip somewhere, but i don't ever pick them up and read them again. and actually, i do, but they embarrass me sometimes so i don't make it a habit. i think starting a blog might result in a similar scenario and i don't want to doom it to fail from the outset, but humans and probably other living things come to the realization that eventually they will die, so as long as this blog has that sense of perspective everything will turn out fine.
and boy if this isn't the second instance of me being late in picking up a cultural trend, because i flipped the rear wheel on my bicycle around today to ride with a fixed gear, but i have to say (and whether or not it is true i have to say it), i just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. that goes for the blog as well.
